New-In Beauty: You Need on Your Radar

Spring is finally in full swing and our social diaries are getting fuller by the day. These are the new-in makeup and skincare product releases that I’m loving, to help your skin look flawless and radiant all day long.

The new lip balm from Ole Henriksen is a buttery dream. Lip-specific peptides plump lips to make them look fuller. Kokum and mango seed butters nourish, soften and condition; cloudberry oil gives a serious moisture boost; and acai sterols help to strengthen the skin barrier to keep moisture locked in. You’ll find yourself reaching for this all day long as it’s heavenly to apply.

Dermalogica Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream – £130 from Dermalogica

This is a scientific powerhouse that’s a result of a lot of research, so it’s well worth its price tag. It’s such a lightweight moisturiser that does SO much. It plumps, firms, lifts, hydrates and revitalises, plus it is clinically proven to rewind your skin 4 years through its ability to reduce the appearance of premature wrinkles.

Ligustrum Lucidum seed, Glycogen, and Nasturtium flower optimise skin’s oxygenation process to increase luminosity, radiance and just give your skin a bit of pep in its step. Adaptogenic Astragalus and Electric Daisy flower smooth and tighten the skin, whilst Luffa Root firms. It also contains hydrating and plumping Squalane, as well as antioxidant-rich Rose of Winter to boost skin’s resilience against environmental aggressors.

Lancome Rénergie Multi-Lift Day Cream SPF15 – £83 from Lancome

I am completely obsessed with this re-designed launch from Lancome as it transforms the appearance of your skin immediately upon application. It gives a serious hydration boost which visibly plumps the skin. Gluco-peptides from Linseed extract further plump and firm the skin. Skin looks more defined, more lifted and plump with moisture. The texture of it absorbs beautifully into the skin and leaves no residue or greasiness.

Dr Brandt No More Baggage Eye Gel – £41 from Dr Brandt

I love a thin, light eye gel that gives serious hydration and that’s exactly what this is; but with some incredible added technology! It’s marketed as being like filler in a tube. It instantly hydrates, tightens the under-eye, banishes puffiness and smoothes away lines and wrinkles. If this is an area on your face that’s quite stubborn and resistant against other products, definitely give this one a try to awaken and bring youth to your under-eyes.

Drunk Elephant Bouncy Brightfacial – £60 from SpaceNK

This leave-on mask can be used in your morning or evening routine. It can be trying on the skin when used in the morning, so I like to pat an oil over the top if I’m using it this way. This is an incredibly effective mask. Azelaic and Salicylic acids and a triple antioxidant complex help tackle uneven skin tone, fade dark spots and reduce the appearance of redness to give you a brighter and more even complexion. Niacinamide reduces excess oil and refines the skin’s texture; moisturising plant oils help with combating the harshness of the acids; whilst ceramides and fatty acids help fortify your skin barrier. With continued use, skin will look brighter, more even in tone and texture and feel soft and smooth.

Fenty Skin Melt AWF Jelly Oil Make-Up Melting Cleanser – £25 from Boots

The texture of this is heavenly and like a cross between a jelly and a balm cleanser. It dispenses like a jelly but melts immediately upon contact with the skin into a beautiful oily balm. It’s extremely effective in removing makeup and leaves skin feeling silky soft, hydrated and comfortable. It contains a unique blend of 9 different plant oils, plus softening and barrier fortifying shea butter. You’ll be instantly addicted!
