New-In Beauty I’m Loving

Spring is on the horizon; which means it’s time for a spring clean of your skincare and makeup to make way for some new releases. Whether it’s a new eye cream to brighten your under-eyes, or a highlighter that will give you the healthiest of glows, these are the new beauty launches that I’ve been loving over the last month.

Fenty Skin Watch Ya Tone Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum – £38

This dark spot serum contains my hero ingredient – Niacinamide. So not only does it help to even out your skin tone in terms of tone, it also helps to even your skin texture by minimising pores. Your dark spots will fade, your skin will look brighter, your skin texture will look more refined and any inflammation will be reduced too. It’s a powerful product due to its powerhouse of ingredients, including brightening vitamin C, liquorice root extract and Barbados cherry. It’s instantly hydrating, then you’ll start to notice the other results after just one week. Applying this daily is key to its success.

Clinique Charcoal Cleansing Balm – £30

I’ve always found the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to be a super-effective one. I’d just not revisited it in recent years as I found it a bit boring compared to other cleansing balms on the market. However, their new charcoal version immediately caught my attention and now I’m hooked. I’ve always loved a charcoal cleanser but this is right up there now as one of my favourites. The charcoal makes it look and feel more indulgent and effective. You really get a deep clean with this as the Japanese charcoal helps to draw out impurities and detoxify pores. It literally melts your makeup away, leaving your skin super soft and comfortable.

L’Occitane Lavender CBD Relaxing Massage Oil – £34.50

L’Occitane have been creating relaxing lavender products for a long time, but this is its first introduction of CBD into the mix. I find the CBD really helps with muscle tension, especially after a gym session. It’s perfect to apply at night to soothe tired muscles and ease you into sleep with its relaxing scent. It contains 99% natural origin ingredients and leave skin feeling very soft and nourished too.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Glow Glide Architect Highlighter – £38

Charlotte Tilbury is already famous for her highlighters, but this one’s on a different level. It’s a powder highlighter that has the same smooth glide-on look of a cream or liquid. It manages to help skin to look more even in texture and gives a liquid-like, soft-focus sheen to all those high points of the face. It’s smoothing, texture-improving and blindingly glowy, in a natural way. Magic!

Omorovicza Queen Oil – £115

This is a pricey oil but it’s utterly divine. This light, thin oil absorbs beautifully into the skin and envelops it in a loving and supportive embrace. It’s all about skin barrier repair, so its ingredients are all nourishing and about fortifying that natural barrier for healthy skin. It’s a blend of precious oils to repair, rebuild and plump the skin, and it smells heavenly too. Omegas top up skin lipid levels and support ceramide synthesis, five-flavour berry boosts collagen and elastin to plump the skin and boost elasticity, then Vitamins C, K and E give antioxidant protection to shield the skin from environmental stressors. It’s your skin saviour, especially in the colder months of the year.

Byoma Brightening Toner – £15

Byoma’s products are all about looking after your natural skin barrier and all of their products contain a blend of three lipids to improve barrier function and moisture levels. One of these is ceramides, which are essential to a healthy, functioning skin barrier. Their Brightening Toner contains a gentler lactic and mandelic acid formula to deeply cleanse pores and remove impurities and excess oil, plus even out skin tone and texture. It does this without compromising the skin barrier, due to its exclusive Barrier Lipid Complex. It’s a dream to use and leaves skin feeling soft, hydrated and nourished.

Huda Beauty Matte Obsession Eyeshadow Palettes in Cool & Warm – £29

These two palettes contain every single matte nude shade that you could even need. Huda Beauty eyeshadows have amazing formulations and are super pigmented. Their velvet texture makes them so smooth to apply and their quad design make them very handbag friendly for every-day touch ups. With these palettes, you can create as dramatic or as natural an eye makeup look as you want, and it’s so easy with these to dial-up a daytime look for a night out.
