The new Maisie collection from Boux Avenue is here to stay
I’ve been a fan of Boux Avenue for years now; their underwear fits like a dream and I simply love the cuts and colours of their nightwear. So, I was really excited to hear that Boux Avenue’s Glam nightwear is getting an eco-friendly overhaul!
If you’re not familiar with the brand, Boux Avenue made a name for themselves by providing sexy, fun everyday lingerie and pyjamas – definitely something I can get behind! Life is too short for boring nightwear, and Boux Avenue has always had my back.
Over the last few years, sustainability has been becoming even more of an issue that people are aware of. We all know about recycling and Veganuary, but fashion is one of the industries that has the potential to do more to help reduce the impact of climate change. So that makes it doubly exciting that Boux Avenue have revamped their previous Marnie nightwear collection into the new Maisie.
Maisie is a complete upgraded nightwear collection, using recycled polyester fibres to make each piece, apart from the lace trim, so you can slip into something slinky and still feel like you’re doing your bit for the planet! It’s just as luxurious and satin-y feeling as before, and comes in beautiful summery colours – hot pink and powder blue, as well as the ever-classic black and ivory.

I think my favourite set is the Maise cami set in hot pink, at only £30 it feels the perfect payday treat. Cute and sexy, it’s right on trend for having your own Barbiecore moment. Not sure what Barbiecore is?? Neither was I, until it started blowing up the internet. Apparently, Gen Z and Millenial nostalgia is making hot pink a thing… and I’m not mad at it. These shorts are the cutest thing, with a high-cut on the leg which is ideal for those sticky summer nights!

If you prefer to be a bit more covered up, or it’s not swelteringly hot near you at the moment, Maisie also comes with a Cami Cropped Pant Set that costs £35. In a classic black that will never go out of style, the cropped set is comfy without sacrificing any of the sex appeal. All you need now is a chilled glass of white wine and some fluffy slippers to complete the look!

If only this had been around when I was planning my own wedding, it would have been top on my list of things to buy as bridal lingerie! I mean, it’s just perfect. And it’s sustainable? Each piece is sold individually, but I would have to recommend buying the two together for that extra glam moment. It also comes in powder blue, which would be a gorgeous addition to your lingerie drawer if you just want to add a bit of glamour.

Only available in hot pink (what a tragedy!), this adorable set will help you feel your absolute best this summer. As pretty much all of us burned our bras during the pandemic, this bralette is exactly what you need to remind you that lingerie can be comfy as well as sexy.
